1The short version

Fieldstrip is local-first. The records you keep in the app — firearms, ammunition, magazines, maintenance history, zero data, reminders — are stored on your device. We do not operate accounts, we do not run ads, and we do not sell, rent, or share personal data. The app's release build declares no network permissions at all — it cannot transmit your data even in principle, a fact you can verify in the app's Android manifest.

2Data the app stores

All app data is stored locally on your device using the operating system's application storage. This includes firearm records you create, ammunition inventory, magazine details, maintenance and service logs, zero records, and reminder schedules. This data never leaves your device unless you export or back it up yourself using your device's own tools.

3Data we collect

Fieldstrip L.L.C. does not collect personal data through the app. We do not require registration, we do not collect names, email addresses, locations, or contact lists, and we do not embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

• Notifications are scheduled locally on your device for care reminders you set. They are not sent from our servers.
• Camera access, if you grant it, is used only to scan ammunition barcodes on-device. Images are not stored or transmitted.
• Crash reports, if provided by your device's app store, reach us in aggregate, anonymized form through Google Play or Apple App Store developer tools, governed by those platforms' own policies.

4This website

fieldstripllc.com is a static informational site. It sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log requests per Google's privacy policy. If you email us, we retain the correspondence to respond and for our records.

5Children

Fieldstrip is intended for lawful firearm owners aged 18 and over. The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

6Your choices

Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app deletes the data. To remove correspondence you have sent us, email contact@fieldstripllc.com and we will delete it.

7Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Material changes affecting the app will also be noted in the app's release notes.
